I wanted to let you all know that I have given notice at work that I will be retiring as Music Coordinator effective June 1. I am letting everyone know early enough so the process of finding a replacement will go smoothly. This decision was made after much reflection, prayer and discernment.
I miss my family and want to spend more time with them. I have also become aware that I no longer have the stamina that I started out with in church work 21 years ago.
Sharing music and ministry with you all has been a dream job for me, and I am most grateful. Through the years I have enjoyed hospital, home-bound, nursing home and funeral ministries as well. I have learned so much from all the good people I have shared time with. Thank you to each of you. You have all taught me about kindness, resilience, faith and friendship. I know those friendships will endure.
