Prayer & Support For Families this Fall

With Green Bay Public Schools announcing that the school year will be starting off virtually, we have been looking at ways to pivot our ministry to offer prayer and support for families. As we consider the resources we have available at this time, here are a few things we are considering. ONE – Monday August 24th – Back to School Family Rosary
Join us in praying for our children, families and communities! We pray for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary to prepare us for a great and unique learning year, to bring peace and patience to our families and an end to the pandemic. We will meet at Annunciation Parish grounds near the Mary statue off of Gray Street at 6pm.
TWO – Workspaces for Children Schooling from Home
We have a variety of student desks stored in the convent at Annunciation. If you would like a student desk to help create a workspace for your child at home, let us know by completing the Google Form! THREE – Wednesday Day Camp at the Quad-Parish Faith Formation Center
We want to be able to provide a free day on Wednesdays 7:45a-3p that you can bring your kids (kindergarten and up) to the Quad Parish Faith Formation Center. Children would have time to work on their schoolwork, have a religion lesson, enjoy fun activities and crafts while you would get a day to work, clean or just breathe 🙂 High school students will be provided work spaces, opportunities to earn service hours with the younger students, and time to relax. Social distancing/mask guidelines would be in place and enforced. The religion lesson during this day program would count towards their weekly Faith Formation Class for the week.
